If you clicked "TUNE IN" but didn't immediately hear awesome Progressive Rock streaming directly to your PC... here are some tips that just might get you "up and running" quickly and easily. :-)
Step One:
When you click on the "TUNE IN" button, a banner appeared at the top of your screen.
Find the links next to "Launch one of your players". You will see two links. One for our ogg stream and another for our acc+ stream.
Click on one of those two links and it should automatically lauch your media player and connect to our audio stream. If the ogg link doesn't work, try the acc link.
Step Two: OK - step one didn't work. That's OK! We still have a couple more very quick and easy things we can try!
ogg and acc stations work great with WinAmp. We recommend downloading and installing the free WinAmp player at http://www.winamp.com.
Once WinAmp is installed, then return and try those links from Step One again.
Step Three: Stuck in step #3 because steps 1 and 2 didn't work out for you? Not to worry!
When all else fails, we have a very user-friendly GUI interface available for an mp3PRO stream available for you here: http://www.live365.com/stations/musicoptimist Signing up to listen is fast and free. This approach should have you digging the tunes within minutes!
There is a tiny "downside" for the "ease of use" via this stream... (isn't there always?) These guys add a little commercial to the start of our stream each time you launch it!
Let me just say, "We are very sorry about that! That is why - even though it is a very easy and user-friendly way to listen... we saved this option for the final "step 3"!
Even if it is only 30 to 60 seconds whenever you first connect to the stream, we were trying to save you from those audio-ads.
On the other hand, it *is* a quick and user-friendly way to connect to ProgPositivity Radio! It is a good "work around" way you can quickly "tune in" while you explore the plethora of other players/tuner setting for streaming audio.
