Some of the DJ's on Theory Radio use different styles than what the stream can comprehend. Some are top secret and cannot be divulged in this forum. I can only comment on a sliver of the technology that DJ Booger X uses. Alien technology. I've probably said too much about it already
Some DJ's play misnamed MP3's which is why you will see "The Carpenters - Close to you" when you are actually listening to "The Flaming Lips - Hell's Angels Cracker Factory"
Other DJ's such as myself use a traditional style and you will see the same song name for the entire 3+ hours set. You will see the last song from the last DJ throughout the entire DJ Boris Kafka set until the next DJ comes on. This is because I use two turntables and a microphone and a dual CD deck and a tape deck and a few computers and samplers and very long chained whirling dirvishes and things I smash Guinness bottles against to make noises.
There are probably other reasons other than these but these are probably the most common. Hope this response helped.
And don't forget to listen to my show from 4 - 7 PM Pacific Standard Time on this same station! It is called "The good, the bad, the ugly and the uglier" for a good reason. It is for discrimiating listeners looking for something out of the ordinary. It is ever evolving and always different. Check it out for awhile and let us know what you think. Thanks for listening.
