Sugar Bear was always a sideman playing guitar and backup vocals. Touring as N-syncs lead guitar player in studio and live.Touring with acts like the Chille peppers to Gloria Estevan and The Miami sound machine.When his band on the road after 12 years every body went home broken hearted.Sugar Bear landed a job in a hotel on a stool playing acoustic and playing anything some one would yell out.For the first time making money. Another sideman Jim Burmeister was unemployed and joined the act. Shortly after Jimmy Brotherton was added from old N-sync line up and became The Beaver Brothers for 9 years ,doing shows with The Dare Devils ,Van Zants,Head East,Badfinger and so On .After a wonderful run as The Beaver Bros.it was time for a change. Kort Elsworth, mentored by Jimmy Brotherton and his brother Ronzo who played Bass had played together since birth and The trio known as Sugar Bear was Born .Openning for many acts,playin clubs concerts,events and yes weddings. Currently we are getting air play of Thats How Love getting played twice a day on Fame Game ABC Radio Network.We are getting 1 play a day for several others on all the affiliate ABC Stations www.meerradio.com.Check our results on that site. We are getting played eveyday on 5 Loudcity affiliate stations some time between 12:00 to 1:00 is the rotation on those 5 stations. We are mini touring playing every show in site. We are playing several Bars ,Those venues are club format mixed with covers and Our material.We also do a 30,60,and 90 minute original shows in appropriate venues. It has really made us BATTLE ready as a live act. In 1 month we have literally sold 1523 CD"s out of the back of our truck. Jody with American Dream has opened a lot of doors for airplay on the Loudcity affilliates and there are hundreds of stations in the organization and we plan to hit them all that are our genre. Our plan is to contact newspapers,venues. and local people to get the buzz out in those towns where we get airplay and book venues there and if budget allows have distribution In those towns before we get there.
