About me

It all started when I was about 5 years old (1973) and my Dad's cousin played In Dreams by Roy Orbison on his 1650 Wurlitzer jukebox. This 45 is still my favorite all time song. To see that white and orange swirl Monument label spin and hear those strings, drums and Roy's amazing voice is the ultimate musical experience. I have been collecting 45's since then and have had many more musical experiences through the years. I like all kinds of music but it seems that the songs produced from 1960-1963 have that sound I just love. I heard it refered to as A-C Minor and Belgium Pop but to me it's the best music ever made. I was given that 1650 Wurlitzer when I was 13 and it proudly stands in the corner of my living room filled with obscure oldies. I just hit 40 and still collect 45's like a kid from e-bay, tag sales and anywhere else they might show up. I love radio like this because it helps me find new 45's to hunt for. Thanks.
