1. What's this all about ?
myopusradio.com is India's First Internet Radio Station that plays International Music. Choose from 9 distinct channels to find one that suits you. Or keep switching as the moods do.
2. How do I know which channel to choose?
Roll your cursor over the buttons in the submarine. You'll know which is what. And once you click, there's a channel description with indicative artists on each page. Take your pick.
3. I keep clicking on the play button but nothing happens.
Try refreshing your page. It usually works. If it doesn't, hit the play button and give it a minute or two. Firewalls or an overcrowded or overused internet connection can also slow things down.
4. The music sounds like a band of chipmunks jamming!
Well firstly, what's wrong with chipmunk music? Just kidding, though you have to admit, Chip'n'Dale in chorus are quite cute. This usually happens when you're using a browser version that is not compatible to our site. We've found that Firefox works best, so if you're using IE or anything else, try Firefox and see if that solves the issue.
5. The music keeps dying... it goes on and off a lot!
A broadband internet connection is required to hear our radio station. If you have a broadband connection and you still have problems, it's probably because there are lots of people sharing it or it's just that your connection is slow at the moment. Try again in a few minutes.
6. Can I choose the quality of my stream? I want a higher/lower quality.
Unfortunately for the moment, no. We're currently streaming at 64k which is about FM quality. A higher bitrate won't work on most connections in India and a lower bitrate just sounds awful.
7. I don't want to read through questions, I want to send you an email describing my problem, vent my rage or just get in touch with you guys.
