Project files petitions to remove two Seattle School Board
members.

4th : The U.S. Senate gives final approval to the
$24.6 billion dollar Clean
Water Act; it overrides President Nixon's veto two weeks
later and denies him the authority to 'impound' or 'rescind'
appropriated funds. "Dare To Be Great" promoter Glenn Turner is jailed for contempt in Florida.

Adams lead a caravan from Seattle headed for a rally
in Washington, D.C. Five robbers hijack a Greyhound bus
enroute from Seattle to Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
